James Kynge

Former Europe-China correspondent

James Kynge was Europe-China correspondent. He wrote about China's interactions — geopolitical, technological, economic and in other fields —with European countries. A former bureau chief in Beijing, he has also had postings in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, the Central Asia republics and Mongolia. A winner of numerous awards for journalism, his 2009 book "China Shakes the World" was translated into 19 languages.
