              US capital markets correspondent

              Harriet writes about US debt capital markets for the Financial Times in New York. She was previously deputy markets news editor in London.

              She joined the FT from its sister title Investors' Chronicle, where she reported on healthcare, technology, media and telecoms. She was also news editor at Investors' Chronicle and won CFA UK's "New Journalist of the Year" award.

              Harriet previously worked for an asset management firm. She graduated from Oxford University.
